Peer Tutor Lead Practitioner

Train to lead a 2 day programme designed to develop young people as Peer Tutors who support the learning of their peers. Peer Tutors develop their own learning skills as well as the peers they support. Whether for primary or secondary age students, the outcome is always a rise in standards and student achievement.

Outcomes Lead Practitioners will:

• Gain confidence to set up effective Peer Tutoring in your school/org.
• Have all the resources to deliver a Peer Tutor training programme.
• Recieve a copy of the publication 'Leading Other Learners'
• Gain an understanding of the benefits of Peer Tutoring
• Be part of a growing network of UFA Lead Practitioners across the UK.

Peer Tutor Outcomes Young People will:

• Understand hot to help other young people to learn.
• gain a range of strategies for effective Peer Tutoring
• Have improved self confidence, attainment and communication skills.
• Gain confidence to tutor alongside a supporting adult.
• Take on a leadership role within the school/org
